Crystallization Monitoring System
Optical microscopic technology for sugar crystallization analysis and monitoring
Improved monitoring of the process helps a lot to optimize it. The online optical microscopic technology for sugar crystallization monitoring consists of a live camera view and analytical software. The system acquires transilluminated images of sugar crystals flowing through a 10 mm wide and 100 mm deep gap inside the imaging probe for analysis. Image analysis detects and classifies objects in the images and measures the size of the crystals in real time which helps in online process control and optimization.
